KL International Motor Show 2006 - Ode to the ambassadors

People has probably got babe overdose by now from all the pix from fotopages, photokaki forums etc but I just had to plonk mine in as my ode to the ambassadors. They were all very gracious and let us snap our pix away. Thank you, ambassadors!
All pictures taken with my trusty 350D set to ISO 400, sometimes changing to ISO 800. Trying to get handheld shots without using flash but unfortunately ended up with a number of blur shots.
The day almost ended in disaster though. Somehow managed to select 'Erase All' when previewing photos  Managed to cancel it but lost about 10 shots though. Talk about brain fade! Didn't care much about my Lotus pix but my Bridgestone babes!!!

Well, Rossi ain't royalty but I sure felt like I was next to one when I met him. Here's pix from the time when Yamaha was around for testing in February.

MotoGP test - Jan 06

We Malaysians have it so lucky. Counting the MotoGP race and all the tests at SIC, that's 4 times in a year we get to sample MotoGP action.
Here's a few shots from the Jan 2006 testing. Took this opportunity to practice panning. Less duds this time as the shots were taken at one of the slower corners. Wasn't so fortunate with the pix from future test sessions but that's a subject for another entry.

A380 Visit

Here's a couple of my shots of the A380 when it was here back in Nov 2005. You could just make it out in the top left of the pix with the Air Asia planes.
It was awesome to watch it take off but unfortunately, I chose the end of the runway to base myself. Wrong place! The plane banked almost immediately after take-off and I ended up with mostly underbelly shots.

A couple of shots from my visit to Aquaria pre-Merdeka 2005. A great place to take 'underwater' photography without getting wet. A tad expensive but was well worth a visit.
